Arctic Fjord Cruise on the Hermes II

Join us on a genuine coastal experience on the beautifully restored boat Hermes II from 1917. This afternoon you will get to experience the islands around Tromsø.  Often we spot both eagles & seals. On clear days we see reindeer grazing by the seashore. Feel the calm on board when we sail out of the harbour. Enjoy yourself on the open deck and savour the pristine nature around you. We will regale you with the exciting history of the boat and the places we sail by.

About The Hermes II: The boat was built in 1917 and was originally a cargo boat for fish, coal, animals and building materials. Fishing for shrimp and capelin were later added. A conservation & restoration project between 2016-2019 saw the boat restored to her former glory. The work and dedication that went into preserving this boat was rewarded with the Tromsø Culture Community Award.
